There are tons of definitons on what is a prototype but suffice to say, the collection here are production sample prototypes, some with destroy markings on them.
Between mid to late 1995, Pressman Toys released a boardgame titled Spawn the Game and produced six markers for the game. The markers are 3D miniatures of which four are Spawn figures. Of the four spawn figures, two of them are reproduced here: Commando Spawn 1 appeared originally in Series 2 of Spring 1995. The miniature Commando Spawn 1 in grey-washed standing on the extreme right is an exact replica. Note that the figure on the extreme left is a prototype without the belt and spikes.
Pilot Spawn is also an exact replica of the original released in Series 2 of Spring 1995.
